I was 45 years old when I started my new life.  That was just one year ago.  I am a recovering alchoholic.  Because of AA, I turned to God.  Because of God, I started a new life.  I never really understood everything about God, or the Bible.  When I turned my will over to God, I began to thirst for the knowledge of Him.  I never in my life had that before.  Since then, He has given me such peace, and serenity.  I never thought such a thing existed.  To me, this is the next step to my new journey. My only hope is now, that I can touch other peoples' hurts, so they may start their journey with God.  And as they start their new life, that they may receive the peace, serenity and love that God gives.
