Ridge Kids Photography
Throughout the year there will be many times video footage and pictures of Ridge Kids will be taken for use in casting our mission/vision. These pictures and video footage may be used in newsletters, on the Ridge Kids website, or etc. No names will ever be used. If we MAY NOT use your child's picture/video footage, please indicate by checking the box below.
I DO NOT give permission for Ridge Point to use pictures/video footage of my child for any reason.

Discipline Procedures
We appreciate parent support of children.s programs. One challenging area to be aware of is the discipline/behavior of children while in our care. This is a growing concern in our schools as well as in the church. Research shows and has proven where there is strong parental support; there is a decrease in disciplinary incidents. We ask you read through our policy and sign indicating your support and awareness of our procedure. If you have concerns, please contact Linda Laird, Pastor of Children.s Ministries.

1st Incident
    Small group leader will ask the child to discontinue the inappropriate behavior. If the behavior continues the Team Leader will take the child aside to discuss appropriate behavior one on one. At this point, the child will be allowed to go back into small group time.

2nd Incident
    Small group leader will ask the Team Leader to remove the child from small group time, spending the rest of the service with the Team Leader and the Parent/Guardian will be notified after the service. Report of the incident will be kept on file.

3rd Incident
    Pre-School through 2nd Grade: The child will be removed from the Small group immediately and the Parent/Guardian will be paged to come and stay with their child or be picked up.
    2nd-through 5th Grade: The student will be removed immediately from the Small group and the Parent/Guardian is notified upon pick-up time. The student will not be allowed to return to class until the Parent/Guardian and Pastor of Children.s Ministry discuss an agreement. Report of incident will be kept on file.

Child Check-In/Pick-Up Procedure

Nursery, Pre-School and K-1st Grade:
    Child is checked-in at any Parent Pager Computer Check-In Station. Parent/Guardian will have a pager assigned to family at the Check-In Station. This is a vibrating pager which gives a message as to where parent/guardian should report, if paged. Please wear the pager (in other words, do not put the pager in a purse or coat pocket, etc). At Check-Out time, please follow instructions for Check-Out. Your child will not be released without the appropriate Check-Out slip. Team Leader will verify identification of child before releasing child.
2nd-through 5th Grade:
    Children will be checked-in at Parent Pager Computer Check-In Station. Parent/Guardian will receive a Check-In slip, only. Check-In slips are required before dropping off your child. After the service, check your child out at any express station. Children will not be released without appropriate Check-Out Slips. All Team Leaders will verify identification of each child before releasing any child.
