I'll second what Jessica said-- having Ben just makes all of the struggles and tragedies around the world seem so much more "real" to us-- we know that the kids in Ethiopia, Haiti, Zambia and across the globe need Jesus' love and deserve a fair shot at life just as much as our kids here in West Michigan do. Thanks for bringing us images of these beautiful kids!
Thank you for posting this and for your efforts in bringing awareness to our community. When we brought Felmata home from Ethiopia we were reminded yet again of how similar these African kids are to our own. They have bad dreams and real tears and they like to play games and giggle and give hugs. They get lonely and hungry and don't always obey! They have hopes and fears and likes and dislikes. Sometimes when we look at the pictures it's easy to forget that they're real, living breathing kids with feelings just like our own. This video reminds us of that ... so thanks!

You are so right
They are God's kids looking for forever families! Jessica, thanks for being a family that has sensed the call and answered.
